Lisabeth Kopp
Aquatics Director, Chico & Paradise Clubs
Lisabeth Kopp was born and raised in Chico, CA and has been working at Fit One,Chico for 4 years as the Aquatics Director. She is certified through the American Red Cross and has been working as a lifeguard and swim instructor for over ten years. She is certified in CPR , and is a Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Instructor including First Aid, through the American Red Cross.
Lis' experience includes life guarding and teaching swim lessons in several settings from the local Recreation District, at a Summer Camp in New York, and at private facilities until assuming her duties at Fit One.
She has taught children as young as 2 months old to people into their senior years and both group and private lessons. Included in the lessons are the basic skills to the technical sport swimming. Lis has guarded at both lakes and pools and was a swimmer for 4 years on the high-school swim team.
"Swimming is a joy to me, and I believe every one should have basic swimming skills in their life so they are safe and have fun around the water." Teaching people swimming skills or how to improve their techniques is very satisfying and this attitude is conveyed through her staff every day.
Lis is a 2006 graduate of CSU,Chico and majored in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Resort Lodging management and Commercial/Community Recreation. You are invited to come over to Fit One and meet Lis and see for yourself what a competent program and staff she directs.
Dr. Matt McCowan
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Matt McCowan has been in private practice since 1998 after graduating cum laude from Los Angeles college of Chiropractic. We highly recommend him and his professional staff for back care.
Specializing in treating sports related injuries, Dr. McCowan has used his skills to treat professional athletes as well as the weekend athlete, keeping them in the field, court and course. Besides treating sports arm and leg injuries frequently, Dr. McCowan is an expert in treating spinal conditions, Nerve pain, numbness, arthritis, and severe sprains are just some of the cases Dr. McCowan treats daily in his practice. Debbie Ann Holt
Women with Weights Director, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Aerobics Instructor
Debbie Holt; wife, mother, personal trainer, and friend. Debbie was not always in the fitness industry. As a matter of fact, one time Debbie weighed almost 200 lbs. Finally she decided she was done feeling bad about her body, so she obtained the knowledge it takes to lose excess body fat. Debbie lost 70 lbs and has kept it off for 5 years, now she has dedicated a part of her life to helping other women to take charge and achieve their goals for a healthier life. Debbie enjoys many aerobic activities but says, “I love Spinning because I can educate my students while training them.”
Debbie’s Philosophy:
Health and well-being are in your hands. Take charge! Make changes in how you eat, exercise, and perceive life. Do not fixate on the scale, but on being healthy! Life is a gift and how you feel will reflect in how you enjoy it.
Tim Garcia
Fitness Director, Chico
Tim arrived in Chico in 1986 when he played football at Chico State. He earned his degree in Public Administration, then went on to Mt. Saint Mary’s College to secure his teaching credential in Physical Education. Tim taught U.S. Government, coached football and wrestling and was Dean of Discipline at Bishop Amat High School in Southern California.
Tim has worked in Law Enforcement in San Diego and San Bernadino where he also ran the youth Police Academy Program. He is currently the FIT ONE Boot Camp Director for both youth and adults, and has extensive volunteers hours working with intellectually and physically challenged persons.
Tim moved back to Chico in 2001 to obtain his Masters Degree in coaching and athletic management, and began offering his talents at Fit One in 2003. He also teaches part time at Butte Community College and begins the 4th year as an assistant Football Coach in 2006!

Brian Arntzen
Chief Operating Officer
Brian Arntzen brings over fifteen years of experience in the fitness industry to Fit One Athletic Clubs . He is currently the C.O.O for the company at all three clubs. His well rounded background in professional, fitness and club management offers a unique perspective on meeting the needs of our members.
With a combination of world class programs, staff and customer services, Brian believes the recipe has been set for not only providing an environment that people who have experience in fitness clubs will enjoy, but also for those who are considering fitness for the first time.

David L. Klein
Spinning Director, Chico
David has been cycling for the last 25 years, from BMX to competitive road racing, His passion for fitness, working out and weight lifting at the gym began over 20 years ago as well.
After twenty years of biking, David took a spinning class and realized HE wanted to teach the class. He taught spinning for about 2 years and in the process, became a Certified Personal Trainer. Now with more than 2,000 spin classes and five years of experience, David has decided to go one step further and take people from his spinning class to the road. He is developing the Fit One/Cycle Sport Racing and Century team.
Kimberly Felliner
Yoga Director, Chico
Kimberly has been faithfully practicing Yoga since she was a child. She began practicing with her father and learned self awareness, breathing and slowing down to begin taking in everything as a whole. Yoga is excellent for strengthening the right and left sides of the brain. Kim has overcome her personal challenges in asthma & dyslexia thru her Yoga practices and discipline.
Kimberly is also an artist, painter, and black and white photographer, all forms of Art. She considers Yoga an art form as well, the practice of the self where you create your own goals. Yoga’s benefits are better posture, strength, flexibility, increased muscle tone and stamina plus that peace of mind that everyone strives to find. She has practiced Yoga from the highest peak of Mt Lassen to the San Francisco Zen Center, now you can find Kimberly right here at Fit One-come feel the power of Yoga.
Kristen Fisher
Regional Fitness Director
Kristen has been involved in the fitness industry for over 10 years. She holds her Bachelors degree in Sports and Fitness Management from San Jose State University and a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from Chico State University.
In combination with her Regional Fitness Director Position Kristen also teaches spinning, step aerobics, kick boxing and aqua aerobics. She also is an ACSM Member and personal Trainer.One area of specialty is Pre/ Post Natal Fitness. Being a mom herself, she believes that taking care of your body both during and after pregnancy is very important to not only the mom’s well-being but also for the well-being of the new baby.
Currently Kristen is involved in the recruitment and training of all Fit One Athletic Clubs personal trainers along with their ongoing training and education. She is also involved in the management of our Group Exercise programs, Gravity Pilate's and other specialty fitness programs.
Scott Navarro
General Manager of the Chico Club
Scott Navarro grew up in the Bay area and played sports all of his life. Sports helped him get involved in working out and living a healthy lifestyle. As a result, Scott decided to work in the Health and Fitness Industry and has been doing so for over 10 years. He previously played professional baseball and developed a strong work ethic as well.
Scott loves the opportunity to help people change their lives! As Club manager, He thrives on finding just the right program to assist in that goal. Scott also manages our exceptional concierge service department-training front desk team staff to provide members with all the service and excitement to make your time here the BEST part of your day!
CHERYL REAGER
Community Relations/Event Planner, Chico
Cheryl grew up in the San Jose area where she graduated from CSU San Jose with a B.A. in Park and Recreation management. She worked as a camp counselor, social director on a ship and in retail before moving to Chico. Her career job was as Supervisor at the Chico Area Recreation and Park District for 18 years . She was also elected to the State Park & Recreation Society BOD, Supervisors Section and served the Sacramento area Recreation Departments for several years.
A change in work environment was needed so she began another career and served the Chico Business Community in membership development and special events for the Chico Chamber of Commerce. Active involvement in the community and business world introduced her to Tony DeLuca so In 2005, and when she wanted to work part time and join her husband in semi-retirement, she was pleased to be asked to work at Fit One!
Here she monitors the web site, coordinates special events and fundraising activities and attends committee meetings as part of the Fit One philosophy of Community Support and Sponsorships!
She is on the Board for the Chico Women's Business Exchange and serves the Community with the Chico Noon Exchange Club.She also travels extensively and enjoys Interior Design.
RUDY SMITH
Membership Director, Chico
Rudy and his twin brother, James grew up in the Lancaster, Ca area. He went to school at Yreka High and went to the College of the Siskyous where he received his GE degree.
He later came to CSUC where he is majoring in Applied Computer Graphics with a minor in business.
Rudy has been an avid baseball and football participant, and is a weight lifting enthusiast. He enjoys his work at Fit One where he can meet new people every day and offer them a way to change their lives for the better every time they come in!
Benjamin Rechter
Rock Wall Director/Concierge Services, Chico
Ben was born and raised in a small town in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California. Throughout his life he has always been extremely physically active and he enjoys a wide variety of sports! His favorite hobbies include hiking, backpacking and of course (his favorite) rock climbing. He learned to rock climb through his experiences with rope courses, boy scouts and adventure camps.
Ben always encourages new climbers to come out and experience the excitement of Rock Climbing. Come on out and check out the difference of rock climbing for yourself and your kids! This is a workout you won't soon forget!
Ben is currently attending Chico State and plans to achieve a B. A. in Kinesiology and minor in coaching/health science. His mission in life is to "help others realize their potential for greatness."
DTIM TATUM
Aqua Director, Paradise
Dtim is our Fit One, Paradise Aqua Director in charge of the Aqua Aerobics Fitness Program. She has a B.A. degree in Mass Communications and an M.A. in Cross-Cultural Conflict Analysis and Resolution.
Her past experiences were as a journalist in Thailand and as a conflict resolution/mediator for the Fairfax County Public Schools in Northern Virginia.
Dtim moved to Paradise in 1999, and she worked as a mental health counselor for Butte County Department of Behavioral Health. She was then hired as a Aqua and Aerobics Instructor for the former Health Club which eventually was purchased and became Fit One in 2005 when she also was promoted to Aqua and Group Fitness Director.
Currently Dtim is an AEA (Aquatic Exercise Association) certified Aquatic Fitness Professional and Aqua Personal Trainer , SWC (Sara's City Workout) certified Mat Pilate's Instructor and an AF (Arthritis Foundation) certified Aerobics and Aqua Instructor and self-help program trainer/leader.
In addition, she is an EFI certified as a Gravity Pilate's, Group Strength and Personal Trainer and teaches at Butte Community College for several years teaching Pilate's and aerobic fitness.
If those credentials don't encourage you to come in and meet her, she is a delightful person with a warm outgoing personality that will help you determine and reach your fitness goals!
JOANNE NAU
Fitness Director/Personal Trainer-Redding
Training Philosophy: Do what you like or find a way to like what you are doing!
In 1989 Joanne received her group exercise certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She has worked in health clubs in Los Angeles, Santa Rose, Eureka and Cincinnati, Ohio. She went on to receive her Personal Training certificate in 2003 and trained as a Personal Trainer at the elite Cincinnati Sports Club before returning to Redding in 2005.
Joanne is in the process of obtaining her certification in Lifestyle and Weight Management. She has a Bachelor's degree in business, and has a great deal of work/life experience from which to draw and make your workouts fun, educational and a great investment-in yourself!
Joanne trains and enjoys all levels of fitness, particularly the Women with Weights program where she keeps her members goals in mind as she challenges them to do what they only 'wanted' to do before training with her! She'll help you find the strength within yourself to accept the challenge and persevere on the journey to becoming an improved and better YOU!
Elyse Nelson
Personal Trainer, Chico
Elyse has been part of the Fit One team for over a year and a half. She is completing her degree in Exercise Physiology at CSU Chico and is a certified Personal Trainer, EFI certified GTS instructor, plus Women with Weights, spinning and aerobic instructor! Elyse is here to teach, motivate, inspire and change the lives of each client. She works well with all ages, and levels of fitness as she tailors each workout to meet individual goals. Come sweat with her and achieve a healthy lifestyle!
Lea Giachino
Personal Trainer, Boxing Program, Chico
Lea was a very active child and became a cheerleader in high school. She also enjoyed volleyball, gymnastics and dance. Her life at the gym began at the early age of 10 as her parents were racquetball players and she liked tennis.
Lea's philosophy is that health and fitness are a way of life and it takes the three D's, desire, discipline and dedication, to accomplish that goal. Lea enjoys helping people and teaches aerobics, women's boxing and Gravity classes to help you find your way on a fun and exciting journey to good health!

Victoria Weinrich
Personal Trainer, Chico
Vickie is currently a senior at CSUC, double majoring in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology. She has had an active life and plays sports like softball, volleyball and basketball along with hiking and outdoor activities.
For 6 years she has been a gym member and she enjoys that atmosphere because you can meet so many people and gain knowledge from others around you! She is ACMS certified and leads by example in the belief that hard work and determination can get you anything you desire!
She has a passion for helping others, and through her dedication she is pleased to share her knowledge with positive people who are willing to join her with the time and effort necessary for effective change in their lifestyle. She will put out as much effort, if not more, to help those who really want a results!.
Joe Munson
Personal Trainer, Chico
Joe brings exercise experience to Fit One based primarily on sports conditioning and sports performance. As a high school freshman, he became interested in supplementation and weight lifting. His interest and dedication to exercise improved his athleticism far enough to allow him to compete for a spot on the Miami Dolphins! Since his professional football experience, his goal has been to help young athletes with the proper training necessary to pursue similar opportunities of their own!
Joe's goal is to be a strength and conditioning coach for a division I college or professional team. He is working on ACE certification and plans to graduate with a degree in Physiology.
Joe has a lot of knowledge in physical therapy gained from many injuries playing sports. He has taken several classes in exercise and nutrition to help others get started. He will help improve your image, provide confidence and create a desire within you- "we all need to start somewhere, the question is when?"

AUBREY HOWARTH
Aubrey is in the process of obtaining her certification through ISSA, a goal she set while being trained herself just last year! "Nothing makes you feel better than helping someone reach their goals" she says. There is no "ideal" client because she loves the challenge of helping someone who is 100 pounds overweight, or a woman who just had a baby, or a man just wanting to tone up-"I'm ready-bring them on!"
Aubrey's hobbies include horseback riding, dirt biking, roller skating at the dam, mountain biking-oh and shopping too! Come meet Aubrey and see how much fun you can have while training and doing something GOOD for yourself!
TONYA GEERS
Boot Camp Director, Redding
Tonya is our Fit One Boot Camp Director in Redding! She is certified Mat Pilate's Trainer/Instructor and Balance and Strength Instructor for seniors. She is a Certified Group Power Instructor and Certified LEKI Nordic Walking Instructor. She recently completed her Personal Training Certification through AFAA in May 2007. What a package!
Tonya began her interest in Fitness when she was 14 when she started running-she enjoyed the facility before it became Fit One's third club, and eventually trained to run the Boston Marathon in 2001.
She is a legal assistant at a local law office, and the Fitness Industry is her passion. In 2000 , she began Instructing an aerobics class called Boot Camp. She has also taught cycling, cardio kick boxing, Mat and Swiss Ball Pilate's. She began taking Mat Pilate's classes in 2002 and decided to earn her certification through Integrated Teacher Training in San Francisco which she did in 2005.
Tonya is a member of the local Running Club, SWEAT (Shasta Wonderland Elite Athletic Team), and she participates in the Cancer Society 's Relay for Life each year.
In addition, she has a black belt in Jujitsu Savate Karate, and is training for the New York City Marathon on November 4,2007!! Her philosophy is "A positive mind attracts hundreds of opportunities-INSPIRE"!
Tony Salindong
Personal Trainer, Chico
Tony comes to Fit One with a background in athletic coaching and retail business management. He has been coaching soccer for the past 10 years at several youth facilities and clubs, including coaching positions at Yuba College and Lassen College.
He is currently the Head Soccer Coach at Butte College as well as Associate Faculty in the Department of Physical Education and Health.
Tony's formal education includes a B.A. and M.A. in Physical Education from CSU Stanislaus. He is also certified through the National Academy of Sport Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist! If you are looking for a top notch specialist in post therapy rehabilitation, sport specific performance training, and fitness specific goals, here is your Trainer! You may also try some Chinese Kenpo or Tai Chi private training-try something new from Tony!
KRYSTAL WEST
Regional Childcare Director
Krystal grew up in the Monterey Bay area where she was a very athletic teenager. She moved up to the North State 5 years ago and worked as a Phlebotomist for the Blood Source for three years.
She came to the Fit One childcare team after the birth of her baby-where she got the best training possible, as a mom! Her experience with children and outstanding leadership skills lead her to the Child Care co-director position in Chico where she stresses the importance of a great, reliable and safe childcare!
She is excited to work with kids everyday and has implemented the new educational FIT TO LEARN program since the fall of 2007. She has Kids Night Out twice a month and daily activities for all age groups to keep the kids stimulated and energized every day. Special activities, the bounce house and Birthday Parties keep the Fit One childcare team on their toes-join the fun with Krystal and her team!
AUBREE NICOLE
Group Exercise Director, Chico
Aubree is passionate about FITNESS-she loves to help people make a change in their life and enjoys motivating them to the fullest in her classes! She believes that strengthening your Core, strengthens your mind, heart and soul to help balance your power. Personal and Fitness Training helped provide Aubree with the confidence she needed in her personal life and she is willing to share that secret!
Aubree wants to share her knowledge to help everyone meet their Fitness Goals and gain the confidence needed to get there. Good physical and mental health ,fitness and nutrition need to be a daily part of our lives. Personal training can be challenging, fun, improve your focus, motivate you to continue and obtain knowledge that you take with you for life!

KYLA AWALT
Fitness Director/Personal Trainer, Paradise
Kyla was born and raised in Paradise, Ca and started with Fit One in October 2003.She is a certified Personal Trainer through the ESA, Schwinn certified spinning instructor, EFI Gravity certified and CPR/first aid certified. Kyla graduated in May 2008 from CSU Chico with her B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology.
She is a dedicated personal trainer and believes that health and fitness should be one of the most important areas in people’s lives. “It is one of the only areas that we have total control over and by realizing that, we can all live healthier and happier lives. As a Fitness Director and a personal trainer, my goal is to reach as many people as I possible can and teach them how to take control over their health.”
Rhonda Casebeer
Personal Trainer, Paradise
Rhonda comes to Fit One with a desire to help, and she has a deep enthusiasm for the benefits that can be gained from exercise. Her own exercise interests involve years of weight resistance, yoga, tennis, hiking and recently an interest in golf. To date, she is doing personal training and Women with Weights at Fit One in Paradise. Rhonda is certified as a Health Fitness Instructor from the American College of Sports Medicine. Her education includes a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from CSUChico and an A.A. degree in Physical Education from Butte College. The science of exercise and of the human body is of continual interest and value to her. She would be happy to answer any questions or discuss any subjects related to health and exercise.
Scott Amick
Personal Trainer & GTS Director, Chico site
Scott grew up in Lodi, CA and relocated to Chico in 2005 to enroll in the Physical Education/Teachers Education program at CSUC. He is a double major in P.E. and Outdoor Education with Nutritional Sciences as a minor. Scott is the PETE club president , an aerobics and fitness association of America Certified Personal Trainer, and a certified EFI Sports Medicine Certified Instructor.
Scott specializes in contrology, mat Pilate's, aqua aerobics, spinning and Kids Triathlon training!
"I consider balance a crucial part of any physically active lifestyle. Trying new activities and having fun are also of the utmost importance, next to rock and roll of course!"
Scott practices what he preaches by mountain biking, wake boarding, hiking, swimming , guitar playing and attending music concerts,cooking and spending quality time with friends and family. Come get to know Scott for some enjoyable workout time and learn the strategies of living a balanced life!
Tammy Hiller
Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor
Tammy's interest was originally in the dental field, however she left to be a stay at home mom and after three children, decided to become certified in group fitness.
She joined the Fit One team in August 2005. She wants to encourage other mothers to have a safe and healthy pregnancy, and to regain their shape after giving birth! She is here to help inspire and motivate you. Tammy has a fun, outgoing personality that will give you a wonderful positive workout experience!
Tiffany Bell
Group Exercise Director-Paradise
Tiffany was a 'stay at home' mom for years then became tired of the after baby body. She began as a member of the Fit One club and tried to lose weight after having two children. She eventually lost 30 pounds with the help of the trainiers and instructors.
She was so excited with the results that she decided to become certified in Group Fitness to share with others what she learned to do to keep off the weight! Her first love in weight maintenance was with Step classes. It was so much fun she decided to learn to be an instructor. Now she also teaches spinning and aqua classes as well.
Tiffany is a fun and outgoing person that loves helping everyone! Come meet her and learn her secrets to an 'after birth' body or just get your in shape the FUN way!
Joan Daugherty
Certified Personal Fitness trainer and group exercise instructor through the American Council on Exercise, Women with Weights Director- Paradise Club
Joan's father was a physical Education Professor, and was involved in fitness all her life. Ironically in 2002, she found out she was born with a heart defect that she didn't know she even had, until she was 45 years old!
She realized then that the reason she had done so well throughout her life was because of her commitment to exercise. At that point, she decided to become a fitness trainer and help others realize the benefits of exercise in their own lives as well.
Joan believes that regular exercise will help people both physically and emotionally and that an exercise program aids in the prevention and treatment of disease and contributes to a more productive life overall.
She has continuing education classes in post natal fitness, exercise for older individuals and strength and core conditioning utilizing the BOSU. Joan is the Director of the Women with Weights program, she teaches GTS and also personal training. She has a BS degree in Physical Geography and a certificate of study in Remote Sensing and the environment.

Jennifer Foster
Membership Coordinator, Chico
Jennifer grew up in Orange County, CA and moved to Paradise in 1987. While attending CSUC, she started a family and volunteered in the public school system and the CSUC Academy of Arts. She graduated in 2000 with a degree in Liberal Studies and received her credential the following year.
Jennifer taught school in Paradise, Hollister and Willows before changing her life and coming to work at Fit One Paradise in April 2007.
Jennifer feels her greatest achievement to date is raising her intelligent, happy, healthy children. She wants to pass on this love of life to members of Fit One- come in and see Jennifer for a tour and a life changing opportunity.
BARBARA ZACHARY
Yoga Director, Paradise
"Zack" is a registered nurse, certified Yoga teacher and registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level and is currently completing requirements for 500 hour registry!
Originally from Oklahoma, she received her nursing degree from Oklahoma State then moved to Los Angeles where she received her Yoga teacher training at Santa Monica Yoga.
With a deep love and passion for the art of Yoga, she continued study with noted Yoga experts at the Sacred Movement Yoga Center in Venice, CA and worked until she completed Advanced Yoga teacher training.
Three years ago she moved to Paradise and began study with Paul Barros, DC of Clear Creek Yoga Center and completed a year long Anusara inspired teacher training course. Always a Yoga student as well, Zack completed prenatal teacher training and attended the Radiant Child Yoga program in L. A.
Zack's love and passion for yoga is evident in the heart centered viniyoga classes she teaches-modifying each asana (pose) to each participants individual body and needs. KRISTI BRACISCO
Kids Zone Director, Paradise
Kristi has been working with children in various capacities over the past 10 years. While attending CSU Stanislaus as an Administration of Justice major, she began working with children with autism spectrum disorders doing one on one home therapy. This work sparked a love and enthusiasm for making a difference in a child's life and encouraged her to change her major to Psychology!
Armed with professional experience, Kristi ventured to obtain more personal experience and became a proud mother and wife. Three children later and a desire to stay and work from home, she began in home child care. As her oldest child entered school, she joined the team at Fit One and recently took over as Director of Kid's Zone at the Paradise Club!

BARBARA MUNGER
Concierge Director, Paradise
Barbara Munger was born in southern California and relocated to northern California as a young teenager., where she graduated from high school. She went on to beauty school, and then purchased a salon of her own.
After meeting her husband, she sold her business and returned to southern California where she spent several years as a district manager overseeing 9 corporate offices.
She decided to return with her husband to Paradise to raise their three children and it was then that she began her career with Fit One! She is the Concierge Director of the Paradise Club and continues to use her creativity and patience to manage her team effectively! Joseph crozier
Personal Trainer, Chico
As a recent graduate of CSU, Chico with a degree in Exercise Physiology, Joe is passionate about the Fitness Industry. He is dedicated to bringing his clients quality results, and strives to keep up with the latest personal training certifications including N.E.S.T.A. and A.C.S.M. Joe will be pursuing a masters degree within the next year or so in the exercise field and plans to have the C.S.C.S. credential in September. Overall he enjoys his job and his love of fitness and wants to share that person with you! Come get started with Joe!
KARA SHREEVE

Kara got her introduction to fitness through sports as a child. She played volleyball, softball and basketball all through school and continued playing competitively for 2 years in jr. college. After leaving sports, her love of fitness led to an education in Exercise Physiology and a desire to help people change their lives with it. As a Personal Trainer , she wants to use that background and knowledge to help members here at Fit One. Kara will help you develop a healthy lifestyle, to create the body you want and help you experience the joys that fitness can bring!

MACKENZIE SURFLING
Membership Coordinator, Chico
"Mack" was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, but grew up in Marin County in the Bay area. She recently graduated from CSU, Chico with a Bachelors degree in Business with an emphasis in marketing.
Putting her degree to good use, she began work at Fit One in January 2008 as a Membership coordinator-here she loves working with people and helping them get a start on a healthy lifestyle!
Mack has always been interested in sports and athletics, so the Fitness Industry seemed like a natural place for her to start her career. In the near future she plans on obtaining a Masters Degree and continuing in the Sports and Management fields.

PEDRO BOBADILLA
Personal Trainer, Chico
Pedro recently graduated from CSU, Chico with a B.A. in Kinesiology/Movement Studies and a minor in exercise science and coaching. On top of that, he has an Exercise Physiology B.S. in progress! Pedro has coached football, basketball, and soccer and in the process also obtained a coaching certificate.
His entire life, he was a sports participant and enthusiast which eventually led him to the Fitness Industry!
His 2 year old, who keeps him very active,and girlfriends support has brought him to this great time in his life. He looks forward to helping people meet their goals, because he believes everybody can accomplish them, sometimes they just need the right motivation to get them there.
Pedro is bilingual which adds additional advantage so he can help more people get started-his philosophy is "EVERYBODY is born to SUCCEED, you just need the right MOTIVATION."
NICK CLINTON
Personal Trainer, Chico
Nick grew u in San Jose, CA where he had a very active youth enjoying sports such as soccer, football, track, basketball and baseball.
In 2003 he moved to Chico to attend school and has recently graduated from CSU, Chico with a B.S. degree in Exercise Phisiology and he also plans to obtain his M.S. in the fall of 2008. He is certified in CPR and is currently acquiring certification in AFAA.
Nick enjoys running and was a member of Chico States cross country and track and field teams while there. He also likes to bike, golf, swimming and hiking as well. Nick has a strong passion for exercise and fitness and believes that with the right motivation, dedication and patience, any goal can be achieved!

ALEX WAITE
Personal Trainer, Chico
Alex grew up in the Bay area, and moved to Chico in 2003. As a child she played in sports and loved competitive softball. When she went to Chico State, she began her interest in health and fitness because she is passionate about exercise and nutrition.
She graduated with two degrees: in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition and Food Science! She is going to complete a couple more classes in the fall as well! She is getting her AFAA certification and plans to complete a masters program in the future.
Alex is particularly interested in emphasizing Nutrition in her training philosophy, as she feels this is a part that is often overlooked.She practices both exercise and nutrition in her daily life and will help you with information and lifestyle that will get you started in a path of success!
Alex is new to the Fit One family and is excited to be here and put in extra time and effort to make her career with Fit One, and YOU a success.
JAKE SCHEELE
Operations Director, Chico
Jake was born in San Pedro and raised in Modesto, CA. He attended Barstow College and received his AA degree. He played baseball while there, and In 2002 he was recognized as "most improved" player on the team! He and his brothers always played sports and at age 14 he began weight training. Jake got more in to fitness at 18 and began as a Personal Trainer and weekend manager at a Fitness Club. During that time he also worked in construction, bar tender and bouncer, college athlete and student.
His return to the Fitness Industry was the good vibes he got as he began at Fit One-at the front desk Concierge Dept. His dedication to service and the customer awarded him the recent new position as Director of Operations, where he continues to serve our members and their needs. His happy spirit and good attitude is contagious to other employees and members alike!
Jake is a Boot Camp enthusiast and has toned his body and lost 25 pounds! He will make sure your visit to Fit One is the best part of your day. "If you see me in the club and have any questions or suggestions for the betterment of Fit One, don't hesitate to talk to me. I am not here just changing light bulbs, I am helping change lives!"
